Hi, I’m John Antony. I’m a QA automation engineer in Portland, Oregon. I have 30 years of software development experience with 10+ years experience writing QA automated tests and tools for Ecommerce websites.
In recent years, I’ve focused on website UI functional & regression testing using Node.js based test automation frameworks (examples: CodeceptJS, Playwright, TestCafe, Nightwatch.js). I’ve also developed continuous integration workflows (CircleCI), alerting (Slack Bolt), and reporting solutions (Allure, EC2 hosted dynamic & S3 static websites).
In my free time, I love the outdoors and have been lucky enough to work in the outdoor industry for the past 7 years. I enjoy bicycles and bike commuting. I’m working on combining my love of bicycles and the outdoors by exploring some bikepacking this year. I also enjoy playing guitar and seeing live music.
